2007-Present 

Capital comes of age as a truly independent servicer and real estate asset management specialist.

  • As an independent servicer, third party commercial activities continue to increase
  • Ratings upgraded. Capital is issued the highest Fitch rating of any special servicer in Japan (CSS1-). Standard & Poor's assigns Capital high ratings as a commercial primary servicer and residential primary servicer
  • CAS (Thailand) receives servicer rating from Fitch. This marks the first ever rating of a loan servicer in Thailand to be conducted by Fitch or any other rating agency
  • Multiple upgrades and continued investment into SCORE (Servicing Company Operating and Reporting Engine), Capital's industry leading proprietary asset management system
  • 2007 Business Intelligence tool (SCORE B.I.) added allowing integration with external systems
  • 2007 Capital Services Group establishes office in Malaysia
  • Regional real estate platform “Capital Realty Asia” established
  • 2008 Capital Realty Inc. enters Joint Venture with UK based Invista Real Estate Asset Management to assist in creation of their Asia real estate platform

2003-2006

Investments under management surge. Capital emerges as a leading servicer in Asia.

  • 2003 Industry leading proprietary asset management system (SCORE) developed and rolled out
  • Capital emerges as a leading Japan and regional servicer. Multiple rating agency upgrades
  • Dramatic growth in structured loans, conduit and CMBS products under management
  • 2004 Capital Services Group establishes office in Shanghai
  • 2005 Capital Services Group opens offices in Singapore and the Philippines
  • Commercial licensing of SCORE commences

1998-2002

 Asia assignments fuel regional expansion. Diversification of assets in Japan gives glimpse of the future.

  • Capital Serving Co., Ltd. established in 1998 exclusively to service a major US investment bank's Japan NPL Portfolios.
  • Utilizing the resources and personnel of US asset management firms and experienced local personnel, Capital provides an immediate foundation and a platform for future growth 
  • Capital Serving Co., Ltd. obtained servicer license no.23 for commercial loan servicing from the Japanese Ministry of Justice in September 1999
  • Began commercial operations in September 1999
  • Focus on cash collections of NPL portfolios
  • Localizing the Capital Servicing Co., Ltd. model the Capital Services Group opens offices in Thailand and Taiwan
