Capital Services Group has been rated in Japan since 2001 and in Thailand since 2007. Rating agencies assess all aspects of a company's operations including accounting and reporting standards, financial stability, market presence and systems. As such, they represent an objective and independent measure of the strength of our company.

Our flagship Japan operation Capital Servicing Co., Ltd. has been awarded strong ratings from independent rating agencies. Currently Capital Servicing is the highest rated independent special servicer in Asia and is one of only a handful of companies that have been rated by both Fitch and Standard & Poor's. Capital Servicing has also been rated as a residential loan primary servicer and commercial loan primary servicer by S&P, and Capital Advisory Services (Thailand) Ltd. has been rated as a residential special servicer by Fitch. Capital is proud of the solid ratings received from independent international rating agencies.

The Fitch scale for Commercial Special Servicers (CSS) and Residential Special Servicers (RSS) is from one to five (with “one” being the highest). Each ranking can have a plus or minus. Standard and Poor’s use a five point scale from “Strong” to “Weak”. “Strong” with “Stable Outlook” is the highest possible ranking.
