Introduction
The Capital Services Group provides loan and real estate asset management services to clients across Asia from offices in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, mainland China and the Philippines. The Group has grown significantly since its inception in 1998, with US$ 10 billion* of assets under management and a headcount numbering over 300.
The Group's most diverse and flagship operation is based in Tokyo, Japan and comprises two business entities: Capital Servicing Co., Ltd. and Capital Realty Inc. Capital Servicing Co., Ltd. is the highest rated non-captive servicer in the region and is the model for all of Capital's regional operations.
The Capital Services Group's strong track record is built upon cutting edge systems and strongly-defined policies and procedures. This focus on fundamentals has enabled the Capital Services Group to develop an asset management and servicing platform specifically tailored for the rapidly developing multinational asset management environment. Capital's model can be rapidly localized to new countries or markets at relatively short notice and frees up resources to focus on country and investment specific details.
The Capital Services Group uses state-of-the-art technology, providing real time information to stakeholders. Strategic to the Group's operations is SCORE (Servicing Company Operating and Reporting Engine), our web-based proprietary asset management and performing loan system, featuring multi-lingual and multi-currency capabilities. This system centrally warehouses all asset information across countries and business products, providing accurate, timely and consistent reporting. SCORE's innovative and easily configurable infrastructure allows the group to rapidly commence new portfolio servicing or enter new markets on a global scale. Rating agencies, the regulatory authorities, and most importantly, the users have all strongly endorsed SCORE.
To facilitate unity across the Group, Capital has also created an advanced intranet platform, referred to as RICE (Regional Intranet for Capital Employees). On-line in all Capital Services Group offices, RICE provides access to corporate news, tools, references and functions that simplify and unify the work of Capital employees throughout Asia.
